Just had all of my cooking knives sharpened by a true blacksmith in Dillsboro, NC ; Brock Martin's apprentice, Little Lion. He did a fabulous job. It inspired me to buy a knife holder that was worthy of his craftmanship. This one is perfect!!!!! Love it!!!!! Not too bulky, knives don't touch, fits all my knife sizes.

The only thing I would change is the button to turn the UV lights on. They are on the same side so these cannot be placed side by side. Also the UV light is super tiny so we aren’t sure how effective it really os for the money.

Much better arrangement for knives than my last block, but if you are using it for regular sized kitchen knives, you will only fit about 8-10.

Great knife block! Been using it for a month. Love the look and holds knives well. Great alternative to magnetic bars while still keeping the knifes protected. Doesn’t hold a lot of knives but I only use the essentials.

The bottom slot is the only one that will work for paring type knifes, my scissors are falling down or sideways. The top three slots work for big knives. but fitting 3 knives on each level is a tight fit, 2 is better. The steel is not secure imo so.... Really a knife block with slots is way better. what I do like is it's angle, it's more comfortable, because your not lifting the knife high in the air to get the knife out. It is also cool looking. So there are trade offs.

This is the most attractive knife block I've ever seen. It looks beautiful on the counter and is very easy to access the knives. I chose it because we have a variety of knives we use that are not part of a standard set, so thus no designated block. I looked at other blocks that will fit miscellaneous knives like the kind with the rods, but I didn't like the look and thought they may be awkward to use. I love this knife block. I chose the version without lights.

The lowest magnetic panel isn’t flush with the wood which makes the knives less than secure on this panel only.

Love the look of this block. Works well holding all our cooking knives including our Shur cleaver style knife that’s too wide for other blocks we tried. Unfortunately, the UV light doesn’t work, but that’s a minor detail to me that wasn’t worth the trouble and wait of returning it for replacement.

While others said the wood stain and grain was not well aligned, I found it to be quite nicely done. It is far easier to place knives for storage than a standard block where each knife must fit a precise slot. I can recommend the purchase.

The block came well packaged. It holds an assortment of knives, but my kitchen shears keep falling out. The wood is not as dark as pictured , some areas are almost white which takes away from the overall look. Some of the edges are poorly finished. Overall an interesting piece , looking good on your kitchen counter top.

There is a very obvious light wood coloring that sticks out. Not as pictured and no warnings were given in the description. Would not recommend.
