The product is great. The shipping charge is way overpriced. $29.29 worth of knife guards shouldn't cost $28.06 to ship. A $7.00 priority mail envelope would have been far more appropriate.

These are basic knife guards. They were excellent quality. The service and delivery were unbelievable.

I have some dangerously sharp camping knives that I stress about every time I pack for a trip. And I’ve cut myself once. So these are peace of mind. They fit on easily. All my knives are different lengths, so I used a razor blade exacto knife to score it and bend it til it snapped off and fits the shorter knives fine. Then I used a silver paint pen to write “paring” and “bread” knife for identification purposes.

I bought a 7in knife guard for my 6.5 in Shun Nakiri and it did not fit. Too small by a smidge. It is also a super tight fit, and would have scratched my knife if i attempted to insert it.

Works great to protect chef knives. Feels tough and durable. Don’t have to worry about safety of re-using thin plastic or cardboard cover knives originally came with. Very easy and safe to remove and place in sheath.

My wife bought this sheath for her German kitchen knife. It's light weight thin and small but won't stay on the knife very well.

I got this as part of a birthday gift for my husband who loves to cook. He uses this knife guard to keep his new Japanese chef knife in pristine condition! The knife just slides into the sheath and then no worries about the edge being exposed. Now he can store his knife in the cutlery drawer without risking getting cut pulling it out or the blade getting dull hitting other things. It’s just a simple plastic guard but it does the job.

Works extremely well slightly too long but that's due to my knifes handle not being at 90° but it gets the job done almost flawlessly worth the buy since I'm a line cook and finally have a sheath so I can take my knife to work.

I purchased two of the same size sheaths and one was definitely a tighter fit than the other. Overall would recommend but be careful with inconsistent fit.

Works great for my Shun chef's knife. A bit difficult to clean, but it definitely does the job of protecting the knife and my fingers while it's in the knife drawer.

I use this to protect my knife from pocking my bag. This slips off easily in my bag. it doesnt stay sturdy on the knife.

I’m very happy with this blade guard. It fits perfectly my 8-in chef’s knife. The guard stays in place. The only challenge is to clean the inside of the guard. As long as I keep it out of dirty stuff and only put the clean knife in, I’m not too concerned.

I use this on a Victorinox carving knife.

If you don't need something pretty or flashy. If you only need someting to protect your fingers and your chef's knife, this is perfectly adequate. It's plastic and simply a folded thick sheet but firmly fits the knife inside and has a little edge chamfered off so it is easy to get the knife tip inside. The size is just right width wise for a chef's knife if you order that size.I'm going to order more of these soon.As far as cleaning, the only problem is you cannot open it up to clean inside, but if you only put a clean knife inside, what does that matter?

Bought as a gift

My drawers don't come with dedicated individual wood slots for my knifes and I don't have the space for wood block on the counter or any space for insert that keeps them separate in the drawer. If you are like me and just have your knifes tossed together in the space in the utensils drawer in you kitchen, then you should probably get these guards to keep your fingers safe when digging through knife drawer.

What’s there not to like? It’s a cover for your knife so that you don’t cut yourself while rummaging for it in a crowded shelf. Also, it protects the blade. There you go.

Don't be fooled. This thing is about the size of a small pencil. Barely covered the edge of my knife blade. Not what I wad expecting at all.

Not sure what I expected, but this is literally just a piece of plastic folded in half, so it felt a little pricy for what it is.

I received a 7" Chef's Knife as a gift and it didn't come with an edge guard. This product does the job but it'd be nice if it were just a bit wider.

Does NOT fit chef knives. It is way too narrow to fit my chef knife which I also bought on Amazon. It is way too narrow. Cut myself trying to slide knife in. Cut right through sleeve.

Product is what it is, but KNOW your knife before using, can save hassle. I had a new steel knife that was not heavily stained and put away damp after a clean off w sanitizer water. It corroded the outer layer slightly and stuck to the product luckily I noticed this within 12 hours and cleaned up with vinegar bath.Always finish coat a knife with oil not water after cleaning - long story short.

I am very fortunate that I have a friend who is a professional knife sharpener. He has several thousand dollars worth or equipment and knows what is is doing. I brought 4 or 5 knives to him for the Holidays. After he sharpened them he said "where are the Sheaths? I said I didn't have any.. He said " that is why they are dull ". He was right of course. but I didn't realize that just keeping my knives in a drawer would dull them. But if you think about it makes perfect sense. You are going through your gadget drawer looking for your favorite Spatula and your moving and banging everything around until you find you Spatula.. Well, that is one of the ways that your knives to get dull. I bought the Slicer and 8" Chef knife Sheath as My friend was sharpening my knives. The sheaths arrived the next day ( LOVE PRIME) and they fit perfectly on my knives. Now I can clank in my drawer as usual and not worry about dulling my knives.. If you understand that the most dangerous knife you own is a Dull one then get these Sheaths there inexpensive and worth the investment...

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this, but turns out to be a pretty decent little knife cover. It is definitely better quality than I had expected. Obviously it’s not a custom fit but a good option at a great price.

The product states it's 8" long, but it measures 8- 5/8. If I would have known that I could have ordered one size down so that it would fit my cleaver perfectly instead of being too long.

To whom of you like their suite case arranged perfectly- it is a great offer.

Bought this for a Wusthof 8" Sandoku. Perfect fit.

Pretty simple product. Not sure about durability.

I purchased the 3" edge guard for a 3" paring knife to replace one I lost. The new one fits very awkwardly, and I finally realized it's be cause it's a half inch too long. I ordered the 3" but received on 3/5" long and it just doesn't fit correctly.

Quality as expected. Unusual sizes. Should’ve measured first.
