There are more and more kids that leave home for college or pursue a career that can’t perform a simple task like boiling an egg. This leads to unhealthy eating and most importantly, young adults are not getting proper nutrition needed. Cooking used to be passed down from generation to generation but in the last few decades this form of inheritance has decreased dramatically. Messermeister is passionate about young adults learning the art of cooking and created the Young Cooks Program to help solve this epidemic.
Messermeister will provide our products to the school valued at a 1/3 of the retail price or, if you have a budget, that works as well! We will match the budget by 3x the amount in product value.
Fortunately, there is a growing trend in high schools across the nation that are offering culinary programs to their students to teach this essential, lifetime skill. For many of these students, these programs also create an opportunity to explore a viable career path. We created the Messermeister Young Cooks Program to support these high schools by offering fundraising opportunities to upgrade inadequately equipped kitchens with world class cutlery and tools!
